Abstract

|
Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop a Korea Child version of the Mini-Mental Statute Examination(MMSE) and to invest of content validity.
Methods: We developed the MMSE-KC(Mini-Mental Status Examination . Korea Child) based on the MMSE for adult and child and lots of literatures. The content validity index was identified by 25 pediatric occupational therapists, who had experience at least 5 years. The content validity was invested twice.
Result: We selected itemts that content validity index is above .75. The MMSE-KC is composed 35 items and total score is 44.
Conclusion: As a tool for evaluating the cognitive function of child, MMSE-KC’s content validity were confirmed. Further, studies about reliability, relationship with other test and standard data will be needed for better application of MMSE-KC.
